THE RETRO QUEEN SOCIAL COMMUNITY RULES

Welcome to The Retro Queen social media platforms including, but not limited to, Blogger®, Facebook®, Twitter®, YouTube®, Instagram®, SoundCloud®, and LinkedIn®. Our content includes stories, blog postings, videos, images, and podcasts. If you are seeking the official source of information about The Retro Queen, please visit our website at www.theretroqueen.com.

While social media platforms provide the public with an open forum, it is also a family-friendly medium, so please keep your comments and content clean. In addition to keeping it family-friendly, we ask you to follow our posting guidelines. If these guidelines are not adhered to, the individual who posted the content will be blocked and offensive content removed.

  • We do not allow profane or vulgar language. No content that is abusive, hateful, or intended to defame anyone or any organization is allowed. 

  • We do not allow discriminatory comments about race/ethnicity, age, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual preference or orientation, nationality, or political beliefs; they will not be tolerated.

  • We do not allow any intolerance toward others' viewpoints. 

  • We do not allow solicitations or advertisements. Similarly, we do not allow attempts to defame or defraud any entity. 

  • We do not allow content promoting political purposes, candidates, or parties. 

  • We do not allow sexually explicit or pornographic images, videos, or content. 

  • We do not allow content that suggests or encourages illegal activity, including content that infringes on copyrights or trademarks. 

  • We reserve the right to retain copies of all removed content for the sole use and protection of the company. 

  • We do not allow content that contains personally identifiable information such as social security numbers, passport numbers, account numbers, personal addresses, or email addresses. 

  • We do not allow content that contains information that may compromise the safety, security, or proceedings of public events or any criminal or civil investigations. 

  • You participate at your own risk, taking personal responsibility for the content you publish, direct messages, your username, and any information provided. 

  •  We do not allow spam videos or images. No links containing any virus, malware, spyware, or similar program that could cause harm to a user’s computer.

  • Employees of The Retro Queen are not eligible to participate in company-sponsored social media contests or sweepstakes. 

  • Individuals are encouraged to tag themselves in photos. The Retro Queens policy is to tag businesses only in photos posted on any social media platform unless we have written permission from the individual before posting.

PLEASE NOTE: The Retro Queen reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at an event sponsored by The Retro Queen. By participating in any of our events, you agree to release, hold harmless, and indemnify The Retro Queen from any claims involving using your pictures or likeness. A person attending a Retro Queen event who does not wish to have their image taken or recorded should make their wishes known to the photographer or the event organizers. Individuals may provide a written request to exclude them from our media content may be mailed to 204 North Lincoln Street, Thorp, WI 54771.

Employees are encouraged to share their recommendations and provide honest feedback to community members. Employees are required to make it clear that the content contains their personal opinions and does not represent the opinions or views of The Retro Queen.
